You Died Symbol Reference: Bloodshield

You Died features this symbol of a shield design. It’s a reference to a contribution of the Japanese shield design contest and can be found in Dark Souls: Design Works on page 107. This design was used in the game on the Bloodshield.

The Bloodshield design symbol is featured in You Died on pages 72, 120, 209, 271 and 333.
